The UFO phenomenon is real, but no one can prove who or what is causing it. This blog explores the research done over many decades, showing that the UFO phenomenon is of profound existential and scientific significance.
"I-Team: Former Sen. Reid wants UFO studies made public." Posted on 8 News NOW Las Vegas YouTube channel on the 27th of February 2019. Duration: 5:10 min. Harry Reid, a former Senator, believes Russia and China have had and still have their own UFO programs.
That piece of information is of course nothing new or controversial for UFO enthusiasts. In fact, in the interview by George Knapp, former Senator Reid is not saying anything new or controversial.
So, why post the interview? Personally, I think the most interesting thing in the interview is that Mr Harry Reid is saying that "there are pieces of evidence" with a mischievous smile. Of course, Mr Reid does not want to say what nature those "pieces of evidence" are or look like, and he claims that he just heard of it as a rumour.
But the interesting part for me is that Mr Reid's claim about "pieces of evidence" (followed by his mischievous smile) may tie into Dr Eric W. Davis´ claims about the U.S. government having crash retrieval programs until 1989. With no success, according to Dr Davis. You can listen to Dr Davis talk about the topic in my previous post here.
So, are we getting the correct information about the UFO phenomena? Or is there a faction inside and outside the U.S. government that has hijacked - what I call - the educational, or preparation, phase of the disclosure process?

The Turkey UFO case - that includes several sightings by several and different people between the years 2007 and 2009 - is well documented and well researched. As you can read and watch at turkeyufocase.blogspot.com, many academics and technically skilled people have analysed the case, especially the extraordinary video of the beings sitting in one of the UFOs.
Even the Turkish government has openly been involved with analysing the case and the videos.
And if I have not missed any recent developments, the video of the UFO with beings in it is still not determined to be real or fake. I have some problems with and questions about the events leading up to the most famous video of the beings in a UFO, but I may write about them in a post in the future.
Dr Roger Leir passed away in 2014. He was well known among UFO enthusiasts for his work on alleged alien implants. Dr Leir became a witness to one of the UFO sightings in Turkey, and he saw when the most famous and debated video with the beings was filmed. That is what Dr Leir is mostly discussing in the interview above with George Knapp.
Be open-minded and skeptical of the Turkey UFO case. Only form an opinion or draw a conclusion after you have taken a serious look at the case.

I like the image analysis by Peter Osborne, so I listen to his assessment of the Kumburgaz UFO case. I have not seen Osborne's assessment in its entirety on the UAP Files, but as I understand his position from the video clip above, he is sceptical of the authenticity of the footage. Which makes the Turkey UFO case even more interesting!

Since approximately a month back, the 38 Defense Intelligence Reference Documents (DIRDs) have been made public, or at least most of them. I think the paper by Kit Greene on the biological effects on human tissue is still classified. I believe the DIRDs not to be merely "thought experiments" about future technology and possibilities, but a description of what we actually know and understand about the physics and technology behind UFOs, or AAVs (Advanced Aerospace Vehicles). Or at least, knowledge and understanding we are close to having. "We" are people like Eric W. Davis, Hal Puthoff, and the other authors of the DIRDs.
Dr Jack Sarfatti also seems to be one in the know, or very close to understanding "the magic" behind objects like the "Tic Tac." At least, according to himself. Since I am not a scientist, I do not have the competence to assess the validity of Dr Sarfatti's theoretical model of the flight characteristics of the Tic Tac.
But as a layperson, I think it is interesting to listen to what Dr Sarfatti is saying in the interview above, and compare it with what, for example, Hal Puthoff is writing about "engineering the space-time metric."
"Kevin Day, Navy UFO Contact After-Effects |403|." Published on the 19th February 2019, on the skepticoYouTube channel.
Kevin Day, was the TOPGUN Navy, Air Controller when he was thrust into one of the biggest UFO events in history.
"One of the biggest UFO events in history" is of course referring to the "USS Nimitz UFO encounter" --also known and talked about as the "Tic Tac incident" -- in 2004, that Leslie Kean and others wrote about in the now famous articles in the New York Times on December 2017.
Together with US Navy pilot commander David Fravor, Navy air controller Kevin M Day has been the most open and outspoken witness from the Nimitz UFO incident, or incidents/encounters, because there were several UFO sightings and encounters during a period of several days.
In this interview (starts around the 5:20 minute mark) on skeptico, Kevin M Day is not talking so much about what happened or what he experienced on the USS Nimitz in 2004, but how his experiences of the UFOs affected him psychologically and emotionally, and how the Nimitz UFO incident has changed him as a person.
Interestingly, Kevin M Day mentions around the 10:35 minute mark a paper by Jacques Vallée and Eric W. Davis, that you can find on this blog here. You'll find the paper in the last third of the list of links with the name "Incommensurability, Orthodoxy and the Physics of High Strangeness." There are many reasons to why I find it interesting that Kevin M Day mentions the paper by Vallée and Davis, but the more interesting reason is the "consciousness aspect" of the UFO-phenomena. And Mr Day seems convinced that the object he saw in 2004 was conscious and somehow affected his consciousness.
Around the 40:20 minute mark of the interview, Kevin M Day says that he's "determined to play a role in helping people understand what's about to happen, in every way that I can." Yes, what's about to happen. He also says that he hopes to be called for the Congress to give his testimony about what he saw and experienced on the USS Nimitz in 2004, and that he gets the opportunity to talk about the Nimitz UFO incident for the president of the United States.
As always, listen with both an open and a skeptical mind, form your own opinions and draw your own conclusions.
In the video above, "UfoJesus", or Ryan, is summarising some of the latest and most important information about the battle inside the Pentagon and the Department of Defense (DoD) over UFO-research in general and the "Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program" (AATIP) in particular.
Most of that information comes from investigative journalist George Knapp, who knows many of the key players involved in the ongoing careful and selective disclosure process (or "Psyop", according to some).
In fact, there are many, at least four, disclosure initiatives going on at the moment, but the best known is probably the one by "To The Stars Academy of Arts & Science."
There are indeed at least two factions inside the Pentagon and DoD with different world views, beliefs and values, which has created tension and opposition over what the UFO phenomena represents and if it should be studied or not.
According to George Knapp, he has been told by Luis Elizondo and other key players that one faction inside the Pentagon and DoD does not want to study the UFO phenomena because the phenomena is demonic in its nature.
