Stanton Friedman gave his Keynote Presentation FLYING SAUCERS AND SCIENCE at the 2017 Ozark Mountain UFO Conference in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. After 58 years of study and investigation, nuclear physicist Stanton T. Friedman has summarized his views about flying saucers. He is convinced that the evidence is overwhelming that SOME UFOs are intelligently controlled extraterrestrial spacecraft, that the subject represents a Cosmic Watergate, that there are no good objections to these conclusions, and that flying saucer reality and its cover-up is the biggest story of the past millennium. His lecture covers 5 large scale scientific studies that most people are not aware of. He reviews the four major reasons leaders in the scientific and journalistic communities have not yet jumped on the pro-UFO bandwagon.
He covers landing trace cases and the star map seen by Betty Hill on board a flying saucer and the scientific investigation of it by Marjorie Fish. That work focuses on two sun-like Stars (Zeta 1 and Zeta 2 Reticuli) only 39.3 light years from Earth, only an eighth of a light year apart from each other, and at least a billion years older than the sun. He reviews possible fission and fusion rockets on some of which he has worked and notes how close we, a primitive society whose major activity is tribal warfare, are to interstellar travel. No wonder aliens are visiting!
The lecture "Flying Saucers and Science" by Stanton T. Friedman is from 2017. In the lecture Friedman is talking about and showing what he thinks is overhelming evidence that some UFOs are physical objects with a highly advanced technology and propulsion systems. And yes, Stanton T. Friedman is convinced that some of these UFOs - or "flying saucers" as he prefers to call them - are controlled by extraterrestial beings and that this fact is covered up by goverments and military (a "Cosmic Watergate" according to Friedman). Ergo, the subject of flying saucers and its cover-up is the biggets story of the past millennium, is Stanton T. Friedman´s conclusion.
Stanton T. Friedman is also covering some of the most famous UFO cases he has been investigating, for example, the Barney and Betty Hill case and the Roswell incident. He starts talking about those cases in the second half of his lecture, and also in the second half, he talks about the controversial "Majestic 12" documents.
Around the 1 hour and 51 minutes mark, Friedman answers questions from the audience.
I highly respect Stanton T. Friedman for all of the time and energy he has spent on researching the physical aspect (nuts n´bolts) of the UFO-phenomena. Earlier this year (or maybe it was last year) he announced that he is going to retire as ufologist. As I understand it, 2018 is going to be Stanton T. Friedman´s last year as an active lecturer in the UFO subject.
Even if I do not agree with Stanton T. Friedman´s conclusions on for example the "Majestic 12" documents, I really think that the field of UFO research needs more people of Friedmans´ caliber and competens. Especially in the current state of the ufo culture or community, were nonsense is more prevalent than objective and critical thinking. I am sorry to say that, but it is true.
