In this post, I will comment on some important questions Mr Chris Lambright raises in his paper, particularly his questions about the USS Nimitz UFO encounter (see his paper in any of the two links in the video description above). In the interview above, you can listen to host Mr Martin Willis and Lambright talk about his paper, but I am only commenting on some parts of Lambright's paper. Which parts I am explaining further down.

With this post, I hope to illustrate the amount of information a single individual has to keep track of and process (which is impossible) to reach conclusions with any degree of certainty. Which is why collaboration between researchers is essential in the search for the truth about not only Lambright's questions but about the UFO phenomena in general.

In the interview, Willis and Lambright are basically going through the content of a paper that Lambright recently published. Around the 16:00 minute mark, Lambright explains why he wrote his paper called "Bigelow, BAASS, the Nimitz encounters, and To The Stars Academy" and summarises the four parts of his paper:

Hussain has written the book Accidental UFO Apocalypse and based on the findings in his book, he has sent a petition to the Supreme Court of India with the purpose "to prevent an accidental India-Pakistan nuclear war due to misunderstood UFO activities." At the 9:20 minute mark (to the 11:40 mark) in the video above, Hussain describes why this awareness of UFO activity at and around nuclear military sites is critical in India and Pakistan today.

The U.S. Army and TTSA has entered a 5 year research and development agreement

Introduction

Some days have passed since the U.S. Army and To The Stars Academy of Arts & Sciences (TTSA) announced their "Cooperation Research and Development Agreement" (CRADA).

The CRADA is between TTSA and The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Ground Vehicle Systems Center. You can read TTSA´s announcement of the CRADA in the news section on its website.

My thoughts on the CRADA

I will share my thoughts on some of the explicit parts in the CRADA, and on what this cooperation between TTSA and the U.S. may or may not imply. I have not further researched the technicalities and legal terms in the CRADA between TTSA and the U.S. Army. Neither have I inspected what The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Ground Vehicle Systems Center actually does, what scientists and facilities it has, etc.

My point in commenting on the presentation by Mr John Greenewald Jr. is because I think it is important that different assessments of the "Luis Elizondo emails" are taken into consideration. Or, more precisely from Greenewald's point of view, the assessment of the public narrative of "Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program" (AATIP), and Mr Luis Elizondo's role in AATIP.

For a big picture thinker like myself, and who is not in any way a researcher, I think Greenewald's presentation exemplifies how anyone who wants to call themselves a "researcher" should conduct fact-checking in a thorough way (in this case, FOIA documents).

One way of reducing the social stigma of the UFO phenomenon

Background

Question everything you read, hear and see about the UFO phenomena (hereafter, "the phenomena"). Including the content on this blog. Trust no one. Not necessarily because people are untrustworthy, but because no one can claim to know with certainty what the truth is about the phenomena or what is not true about the phenomena. That ignorance includes me.

That is why this post is describing "the standards of reasoning" (below the "Background" part), mentioned briefly in a previous post, and why they are important to the discourse of the phenomena. But before that, some more background.

The terms "ufology" and "ufologist" are problematic. Because they imply some systematic method and theory underlying the study of the phenomena. There is not. Which is a problem that Jacques Vallée has pointed out in several of his books and in various interviews through the years.

The main reason for the lack of such a shared theoretical and practical framework to study the phenomena is likely the elusive and complex nature of the phenomena itself. Most people knowledgeable about the phenomena know the phenomena require a multidisciplinary approach. Neither the STEM sciences nor the humanities/social sciences can, on their own, expand our knowledge and further our understanding of the phenomena.

So what can a curious layperson do to become a more trustworthy thinker about the phenomena?

In one of my previous posts, I briefly mentioned some "standards of reasoning" to make the stigmatised UFO subject into a more legitimate subject to be openly interested in and publicly talk about. That is, if one is interested in and cares about the truth behind the phenomena, then one can start with examining how one thinks, writes and talks about the phenomena.

Why do "the Others" want disclosure now?

Introduction

In the following, I am speculating on what I think is the most crucial question trying to answer: Why is a careful and selective disclosure process of the UFO phenomena happening at this moment in human history?

But, I believe a more accurate and even more urgent way to phrase the question is: Why do "the Others" want a disclosure now? Or, why do "they" want to make their presence known at this moment in human history? Perhaps from "their" perspective, it is more about, "At this stage of Earth's, or of biological life's, evolution?" Or, we may have to think on even grander scales?

In Part 1, I will reflect on the question "Why disclosure now?" that I think of as the more terrestrial one and mainly concerns the human side of the disclosure process. That question is safer to speculate about and has somewhat plausible answers. At least we have some public information as a common starting point that we can look at and either interpret in the same way or not.

The related question is , why do "the Others" want a disclosure now? I will speculate about it in Part 2. To that second question, I would like to argue, we have very few, or no, pieces of public information as a common starting point. The very few pieces of information we have of "the Other's" intentions are contradictory at best ("good ETs" versus "bad ETs"). For me, the real terra incognita, and where I am going to stumble in the dark, is in part 2.

So, if you are mainly interested in my thoughts about the latter question, you can scroll down to the second part of this text. The first part is likely most interesting for those unfamiliar with what has happened to the UFO subject in the previous 18 months.

And yes, with "the Others"/"they", I mean something or someone not from this Earth. To not make the subject more complicated than it already is, I will use the term "Non-Human Intelligence" (NHI) as an umbrella term for the different possibilities of what "the Others" can be: inter-dimensional; ultra-terrestrial; crypto-terrestrial; demons; time travellers; and, of course, extraterrestrial, in the traditional meaning of the word.

Before exploring the main questions, I think it is appropriate to clarify and give some background to Part 1 and Part 2.

Let's learn from the history of UFO leaks

Considering the latest emergence of documents with controversial claims relating to the UFO phenomenon, it may be an idea to take a deep breath and pause. Mostly, I believe it is wise to turn to UFO-history for some valuable lessons.

Even if you have already watched the documentary, I think it is an idea to watch it again, and ponder its content. Especially, if it has been a while since you watched it. And even though you have decided about the "Dr Eric W. Davis notes" on his meeting with Admiral Wilson, the notes of the same Dr Davis about his conversations with Christopher "Kit" Green, and the "Majestic 12 documents".

I recently watched Mirage Men for a second time. This second time around, and because of these recent "leaks", I found the information in Mirage Men more relevant than the first time I watched it. To watch and listen to all those past disinformation campaigns from Air Force intelligence (represented by Richard Doty), CIA, NSA, etc., helped me to be more levelheaded, and think with greater detachment about these recent "leaks" that have hit the UFO community.

What I remember most from Mirage Men, is that even the former disinformation-agents featured in the documentary say that all effective disinformation has some important facts and truths in it. One of the former Air Force intelligence agents (Walter Bosley), even says that some facts or truths in a disinformation campaign have to be the most extreme ones.

Disinformation about the UFO phenomenon is old news. Everyone seriously interested in the UFO subject is well aware of that. That disinformation is a mix of facts, half-lies, and information impossible to either verify or falsify, is also well known in the UFO community.

So, why are some people ready to believe every single "leaked" ufo document as fast as it comes out in the public domain, with no kind of scrutiny? Why are some people ready to dismiss every single "leaked" ufo document as a hoax as fast as it comes out in the public domain, with no kind of scrutiny?

If what the former AFOSI personnel are saying about effective disinformation is true, then we have an incentive to examine and assess the latest UFO leaks.

The challenge is to differentiate the truth from disinformation. That effort will take time. Therefore, I raise my hat to anyone who will take on this challenge impartially.

Remember what the AFOSI agents in Mirage Men are saying about an effective disinformation campaign.

The next challenge is: Can we trust them?

Luis Elizondo's video presentation above is a bit dated (spring/summer of 2018), but I post it because I think Elizondo says some intriguing things. Considering the latest and fast coming UFO news and developments, I think what Mr Elizondo said "yesterday" can shine some light on what is being said and happening "today", and vice versa. 

Mr Elizondo made his presentation at the 23rd Ufology Congress of Brazil (I am not sure I got that right), in, I believe, 2018. YouTube published the video on June 5, 2018, which means the ufology congress likely occurred in the first half of 2018.

I will not give my interpretations of what Mr Elizondo is saying or not saying in his presentation above. Instead, I will point out the segments I found the most interesting, but leave it up to you to make up your own mind of what Elizondo means (or does not mean).

1:12 minutes - 3:30 min: "What does it mean to be a human?" An interesting reflection follows.

7:07 min - 8:40 min: (me paraphrasing) "We're no closer to know what UFOs are, but I´m very excited cause we've just about figured out how they work." Mr Elizondo, in this segment, also says that he cannot talk for the "private side", only from the "government's perspective" (on the "how" UFOs work, the physics behind UFOs, etc.).

Around the 12 minute mark, to the end of the talk, Elizondo answers five questions from the audience:

"What made you (Luis Elizondo) leave the Department of Defence?". "Do you believe in extraterrestrial life?". "Do you believe we are close to understanding how they (UFOs) work?" Again, listen closely to Elizondo´s answer. "What was the single and the largest credit with working in AATIP?" And, "how important is Latin America in understanding the phenomena?" A good question (around the 17 min. mark), and an interesting answer from Mr Luis Elizondo.

As with my previous post of "counter arguments" against my standpoint concerning disclosure and TTSA, I will not make any comments on the content in the Dark Journalist episode above, neither am I going to make any counter arguments against what is said in the episode in question.

Instead, I leave it up to the visitor to listen with both an open and a critical mind, and make up his or her own mind about "disclosure or deception?", if TTSA is a "Deep State" operation or not, etc.

My purpose with these counterargument-posts, is to present different ways of interpreting the same set of data and show that one can draw opposing conclusions and implications from the same information.

Mr Dave Beaty's revised version of his documentary is above all important because of the new military witnesses of the "Tic Tac" encounters in 2004, who have been following Cmdr. David Fravor's example. Mr Fravor was the US Navy pilot who went public with his experiences of the "Tic Tac" in the New York Times articles in December 2017.

US Navy pilots had UFO sightings almost daily during a period of nine months

New and, surprisingly, well-written articles in the New York Times (NYT) and the Washington Post (WaPost) about military UFO sightings, and one case of near collision, were published on May 26 and May 28.

Yesterday May 29, I published an article on Medium.com, in which I examine my hypothesis about an ongoing "careful and selective disclosure process", and ask if something else is going on with all the recent confirmations by the US Navy and the Pentagon about the reality of UFOs or UAP?

I said in my last post that I would share opinions that I don't agree with, specifically arguments against my views on an ongoing disclosure process on the UFO issue. 

If you have read most of my posts, then you are familiar with my guess of an ongoing, careful and selective disclosure process of the truth about the UFO phenomena. Furthermore, my current standpoint is that the people behind the disclosure process, and their intentions, are mostly benign.

And the following is very important: I am trying to base my standpoint on the information, the data, that the people in, for example, "To The Stars Academy" (TTSA) have been putting out there in the public domain since the late 2017. Also, on the outcomes of the information/data. 

 I am aware of and consider the backgrounds of the people in TTSA. I take into account the same people's somewhat persistent focus on the "threat" aspect of the UFO issue. Even if, at the moment, I think TTSA is making a genuine effort in facilitating disclosure, I do not believe in TTSA without question.

What does the Pentagon's confirmation on the reality of UFOs mean?

We have moved into a new era in the public discussion of UFO or UAP. The Pentagon's latest admission, that the AATIP program did indeed study genuine UAP, is important. But the bigger picture is that we are inexorably moving in a direction toward this long-held secret continuing to unravel. Richard Dolan makes a clear and concise case as to why.

This live stream by Richard Dolan went down, for some unknown reason, after 7 minutes into the stream. There is a "part 2" below, where Mr Dolan continues his assessment of the official statement by the Pentagon that it has investigated, and still is investigating, UAP, or what most people call UFOs.

What the Pentagon is officially acknowledging or confirming is the reality of the UFO phenomena or "unidentified aerial phenomena" (UAP), which is the preferred term by the Pentagon.

For many years, those of us who have studied UFOs closely have known that something real is going on. It's still a puzzle, but we know it's real.

So, there is a risk that some people in the ufo community will miss the importance of the Pentagon's admission that it has studied, and still is, studying and investigating cases of UAP/UFOs. Dolan is in the video clip above and below, sharing his thoughts on what Pentagon's official statement about UAP or UFOs means.

Since September 2018, I have argued that a careful and selective disclosure process started in the late 2017 with "To The Stars Academy's" (TTSA) press conference. Two months later, the UFO articles by the New York Times, Politico, and the Washington Post entered the stage.

Today, documents verify the Department of Defense (DoD) released the now famous UAP/UFO videos. A couple of weeks ago, we had the official statement from the U.S. Navy about its interest in UAP or UFOs.

As you can read in UFONN's descriptions of the two separate interviews, Mr Dean and Mr Basterfield have quite different focuses - but not unrelated -  on the UFO phenomena. And their different areas of expertise will be clearer if you listen to the interviews above. Or even better, go to their respective blogs and read their posts.

What they both have in common is that their respective work is grounded in reliable sources of information, and their persistent avoidance of anecdotes, third-hand sources, and general nonsense in their articles, books, and interviews.

The respective interviews above, contains so much interesting and important information, so it is hard for me to point out any specific segment or topic to listen more closely to.

What I can do is to say that I think that Paul Dean and Keith Basterfield are two of the top UFO researchers out there today.

A document leaked by KLAS and a letter from the DoD given to a government documents researcher proves the Department of Defense (DoD) did release Navy videos related to UFO incidents, despite an earlier denial.

The posts from May 11th and May 12th, 2019, share the newest details about the USS Nimitz UFO encounters in 2004, plus the most recent updates on what I call a "careful and selective disclosure process".

In the interview, Dr Davis says he believes that the concept of a planned UFO disclosure is a conspiracy theory. I respect Dr Davis for all the work and time he has spent on the UFO phenomena, the Skinwalker Ranch, etc., but I disagree with him about "conspiracy theory". And I will soon tell you why.
